The native civilian A Ben and others from Shi-zong Subprefecture in Yun-nan rebelled. The Censor-in-Chief Wu Wen-du, grand coordinator of Yun-nan deployed troops on expedition against them. Previously it had been proposed that the Yun-nan/Gui-zhou grand coordinator censor-in-chief post as well as the Lin-an and Teng-chong military defence circuit vice commissioner posts be abolished. On receiving advice of this alarm, it was ordered that they be temporarily retained.
