30 Aug 1510
The uncle [of Sha-gu-bu-luo] Sha-xi-ba-ma and others who had been sent by Sha-gu-bu-luo, the controller of national affairs and heir in the country of Champa, requested enfeoffment for Sha-gu-bu-luo and offered tribute of local products. The Ministry of Rites advised: "Sha-xi-ba-ma and the others have been in the capital for a month and it has been necessary to wait for the escorting officials and the various local products to arrive. Their indolence and laxness should be punished." It was Imperially commanded that rewards be conferred upon Sha-gu-bu-luo and the envoys in accordance with the precedents, and that the judicial officers were to interrogate the escorting officials.
