The envoy Ba Chong* and others, who had been sent by Mo-he Bi-gai, the king of the country of Champa, presented a gold-leaf memorial and came to Court to offer tribute of local products. A banquet as well as suits of clothing made from silk gauze (luo) interwoven with gold thread, biao-li of variegated silks and other goods, as appropriate, were conferred upon them. * Ba Chong (巴寵) may well be the Ba Long (巴龍) mentioned in Ying-zong juan 130.8b.
