Previously, the Muslim person Ma-hei-mu had provided horses in Ning-xia in exchange for Yun-nan salt, but had not been paid the salt (一向未支). The grand coordinator memorialized: "Ma-hei-mu comes and goes between Ning-xia and Yun-nan and is very familiar with the roads. I am concerned that his animosity could be harmful. It is requested that the salt due be paid at the rate of 10 guan of paper money per yin of salt." This was approved.
