Li Tian, an Adviser of the Right in the Right Secretariat of the Heir Apparent, died. Tian (zi Shuai-xing) had his origins in Qing-jiang County, Jiang-xi. He passed the metropolitan examinations ... Then, upon recommendation, he was appointed as subprefectural magistrate of Nan-ling in Jiao-zhi. He was capable and did not despise the people, governing and educating them instead. Not long after, Li Li rebelled and Tian returned North.....
