The chieftains separately sent by Dao Ba-xian, the native-official pacification superintendent of the Che-li Pacification Superintendency and by Dao Zhao-san, the native-official pacification superintendent of the Ba-bai/Da-dian Pacification Superintendency, both in Yun-nan, came to Court and offered tribute of elephants, horses, gold and silver utensils, as well as elephant tusks, rhinoceros horns and other local products. A banquet as well as variegated silks, paper money, thin silks and other goods, as appropriate, were conferred upon them.
