11 Jun 1441
In Yun-nan, Dao Pa-bian, deputy Chief of the Gan-yai Chief's Office, was promoted to Chief and Dao Wu-meng (Alt: Dao Niao-meng), local commander at Long-chuan River, was promoted to company commander. Six biao-li of variegated silks were also conferred upon each of them. Previously, Pa-bian and Wu-meng (Alt: As above) had both been held by Si Ren-fa. They then managed to slip away, returned to allegiance and came to Yun-nan. All their family members had been killed. Subsequently, they realized repeated achievements and the Regional Commander and Vice Commissioner-in-Chief Mu Ang requested that they be rewarded. This order was accordingly issued.
