The Yun-nan Regional Commander and Vice Commissioner-in-Chief Mu Ang and others advised: "We received the Imperial orders requiring us to examine and report on the claims that Nong Lang-ju, the native-official assistant prefect of Guang-nan Prefecture, and Shen Zheng, who is waiting to inherit the prefectship of Fu Subprefecture were engaged in rebellion. Neither of these claims has substance. Lang-ju and Zheng have had a dispute and they laid unfounded accusations against each other in memorials." The officials of the Ministry of War requested permission to punish Zheng and so on for their crimes of deceit. The Emperor said: "They are just yi! They are to be pardoned and just sent orders of warning."
