For their achievements in the capture of Yue Feng and Han Qian, it was Imperially commanded that: Liu Shi-zeng be promoted to censor-in-chief of the right and concurrently vice minister of the right in the Ministry of War, while remaining as grand coordinator. Mu Chang-zuo was given the title of Grand Guardian of the Heir Apparent and was to receive additional remuneration of 100 shi of grain a year. One son of each was to be given a hereditary post of company commander in the Embroidered-Uniform Guard. Further, silver and silks were conferred upon both of them. Shi-zeng was given a set of "flying-fish" robes while Chang-zuo was given a set of "mang-dragon" robes. Deng Zi-long and Liu Ting were both given the rank of regional vice commanders, but were to continue with their former duties. Each was promoted two grades in substantive rank and their posts were to be inherited by their descendants. Fu Chong and Zhang Xin were each promoted two grades and were to continue with their duties. Differing quantities of silver and silk were conferred upon all of them. Zhang Chu-cheng, Chen Hua-peng, Wang Qiao and Chen Jia-xun were all variously promoted and rewarded. Zhang Xue-yan was given the title of Grand Guardian of the Heir Apparent and silver, silks and "mang-dragon" robes were conferred upon him. Xin Zi-xiu, Yin Wu-qing and Shi Xing were each rewarded with silver and silks and given substantive appointments as directors in their offices. They were also promoted one grade in salary. Silver and silks were also conferred upon the successive regional inspectors Dong Yu and Cui Ting-shi.
