The chief envoy Kun Jiang-yue, the deputy envoy and others who had been sent by the king of the country of Siam, presented a gold-leaf memorial and came to Court to offer tribute of local products. A banquet, as well as clothing made from silk interwoven with gold thread, variegated silks and other goods, as appropriate, were conferred upon them. It was also ordered that Imperial orders as well as patterned brocades and variegated silks be given to the envoys to confer, on their return, upon the king of the country and his consort.
