The envoy Chou-le and others who had been sent by Pan-luo Cha-yue, the king of the country of Champa, offered tribute of elephants and local products. Variegated silks and suits of clothing, as appropriate, were conferred upon them. It was also ordered that they take brocades, fine silks and other goods to confer, on their return, upon their king.
