Liang Ru-hu, a native-official administration vice commissioner of the left in the Jiao-zhi Administration Commission, and others came to Court and presented gold and silver utensils and local products. The Emperor spoke to the Minister Lu Zhen, saying: "Although Ru-hu is a native person, he is quite loyal and sincere. In pacifying the people and eliminating bandits, he has realized repeated achievements. Now, he has come to Court and it is appropriate to reward him generously so as to encourage him. They are to be rewarded with the full value of the goods which they have presented." Thus, 200 ding of paper money and four biao-li of brocaded fine silks were conferred upon Ru-hu. Paper money, as appropriate, was conferred upon his attendants. In addition, for the goods they they had presented, they were given compensation of 7,480 ding of paper money.
