Hong-xi: Year 1, Month 9, Day 12
23 Oct 1425
Li Jia was re-instated as transmission commissioner. Previously, Jia was assistant transmission commissioner of the right in the Auxiliary Office of Transmission. During the Yong-le reign (1403-24), because of delay in memorializing matters, he was demoted to assistant minister in the Court of State Ceremonial. When the Ren-zong Emperor came to the throne (1424), Jia was promoted to transmission commissioner. For an offence, he was again demoted to administration clerk in the Jiao-zhi Provincial Surveillance Commission. The Emperor, considering his successes in defence of cities, especially recalled him. At this time, he arrived and was re-instated in his original post.
