The attendant minister Ruan Hong-shuo and others who had been sent by Li Hao, the king of the country of Annam, presented a memorial, offered tribute of local products and offered felicitations on the designating of the Heir Apparent. A banquet as well as clothing and other goods, as appropriate, were conferred upon Hong-shuo and the others. Brocaded silks and other goods, in accordance with the precedents, were conferred upon the king.
