The Censor Zhu Yan, regional inspector of Guang-xi, submitted an impeachment against the An-yuan Marquis Liu Xun, regional commander and grand defender of Guang-dong/Guang-xi, and Sun Ji-wu, assistant regional commander of the left in the Xun-wu General Administration Circuit, for not having prepared defences, leading to where the remnant yi of Nu-tan were able to attack camps, pillage and kill. He requested that they be punished in accordance with the law. It was Imperially commanded that Ji-wu be dismissed and sent back to his original guard to await investigation, but that Xun, because of the disturbance in Annam, be instructed to exert himself in defence in an effort to realize future achievements. * A similar reference is included in (the second) juan 205.1a at 80-4287
