The chieftain Duo Li-fa and others who had been sent by Duo Wai-men, the pacification commissioner of the Long-chuan Pacification Commission in Yun-nan, offered tribute of elephants, gold and silver utensils and other products. Paper money, biao-li of variegated silks, silk gauzes, suits of thin silk clothing and other goods were conferred upon them. It was also ordered that they take Imperial orders and biao-li of variegated silks to confer, on their return, upon Duo Wai-men.
