Seals were cast for the Long-chuan Pacification Commission and Meng-ding Prefecture. Meng-mi Pacification Office was raised to a pacification commission. The following offices were also established: two pacification offices, one at Man-mo and one at Geng-ma and two chief's offices, one at Meng-lian and one at Meng-yang. Further, two battalions were established, one stationed at Yao Pass and the other based at Meng-lin Stockade. Both were named Zhen-an. Seals were cast for them and a senior general's post was established in Man-mo. These arrangements were made in accordance with a proposal by the Yun-nan Grand Coordinator Liu Shi-zeng.
