Wan-li: Year 13, Month 7, Day 6

The rewards for Yun-nan government troops who participated in the expedition against Ava-Burma were detailed. The "campaign-following" officials (隨營官) Huang Huai-jie and others, a total of 42 personnel; Gan Wei-yao (Alt: Gan Shou-yao) and others, a total of 25 soldiers who died in battle; and Jie Wen and others, a total of 126 soldiers who had been injured in battle; were rewarded and shown sympathy as appropriate. He Yu, the magistrate of Teng-yue Subprefecture, who had by this time retired, but who had realized many achievements in entrapping and subduing the bandit Yue [Feng], was rewarded with 2,000 liang of silver.
