Three Japanese yi persons were captured in the area guarded by the Zhe-lin Garrison of Nan Zhi-li. They had been sailing to Siam, but their ship had capsized in a typhoon and they had drifted ashore. The grand coordinator and the regional inspector advised. The Ministry proposed: "They should be separately sent to Yan and Sui in Shaan-xi and settled there as border guards." This was approved.
