Xuan-de: Year 2, Month 2, Day 12
9 Mar 1427
Tao Ji-rong, the vice prefect of Xuan-hua Prefecture in Jiao-zhi was promoted to prefect of that prefecture. A person was sent with Imperial orders of encouragement for Ji-rong. The orders read: "The rebellious bandit Li Li and so on are now engaged in reckless rebellion. However, you have been able to remain steadfastly loyal to the country, and have conscientiously guarded the city and forts, protecting the people. This is worthy of great commendation. I am especially promoting you to prefect of Xuan-hua Prefecture. You should become increasingly loyal and sincere, so as to accord with the favour the Court has shown to you."
