Xuan-de: Year 6, Month 8, Day 24
30 Sep 1431
The Auxiliary Ministry of War memorialized: "In Yun-nan, Dao Feng-han, the magistrate of Da-hou Subprefecture, has forcibly seized the territory of Meng-mian which is governed by Tao Zan, the native-official prefect of Jing-dong Prefecture. Also, Han Yan-fa, the native-official prefect of Meng-ding Prefecture and Dao Huai-han of the Meng-lian Chief's Office have been raiding each other's territory, killing people and pillaging." Imperial orders were sent to the Qian-guo Duke Mu Sheng and the three offices of Yun-nan requiring them to jointly deliberate on these matters. Officials were sent to instruct the native officials in the law, requiring them to return what they had invaded and occupied and requiring that they all look to their own affairs, so as to avoid later regret.
