Ha-li Zhi-mo (Alt: Ha-li Zhi-han), the younger brother of the king of the country of Samudera, who was coming to Court to offer tribute, died of illness on reaching the capital. The Emperor spoke to the Auxiliary Ministry of Rites, saying: "He traversed 10,000 li to come to Court, demonstrating his loyalty and allegiance. Now he has died and it is appropriate that he be treated with great grace." Subsequently, the post of vice minister in the Court of State Ceremonial and a title patent were posthumously conferred upon him. Officials were ordered to arrange his burial and households were provided to look after the grave.
