The Wa Dian Chief's Office in Yun-nan was placed under the jurisdiction of the regional military commission. Previously, Wa Dian had been under the jurisdiction of the Jin-chi Military and Civilian Command. At this time, its chieftain Dao Pa-lai and others said that their office was very far from Jin-chi, but close to the regional military commission. Thus, the jurisdictional relationship was changed.
