The envoy Po-fu-lang and others who had been sent by Zhan-ba Di-lai, the king of the country of Champa, presented a gold-leaf memorial, came to Court and offered tribute of local products. They also said that their country adjoined Annam and frequently suffered attacks from that country. They requested that Imperial orders of warning and instruction be sent to Annam. The Emperor approved this. Paper money and suits of clothing made of patterned fine silks interwoven with gold thread were conferred upon the envoys.
