Chen Qia, vice minister of the left in the Ministry of Personnel, was promoted to Minister of War. A total of 200 ding of paper money and four biao-li of variegated silks were conferred upon him and he was ordered to proceed to Jiao-zhi to advise on and assist in military matters.
