The newly-appointed Jiao-zhi Assistant Surveillance Commissioner Hu Yi was promoted to censor-in-chief of the right within the Censorate....Yi had been promoted from supervising secretary to assistant surveillance commissioner. However, before he proceeded to Jiao-zhi, the Emperor, considering the long period Yi had been a close attendant minister, appointed him instead to a post in the capital.
