Imperial orders were sent to the Xin-cheng Marquis Zhang Fu, regional commander of Jiao-zhi, and others, as follows: "Jiao-zhi has already been pacified. Now it is only in Liu-xun and other subprefectures in Guang-xi that the rebellious bandits have not been eliminated. When withdrawing the troops, first advise the Commissioner-in-chief Han Guan and fix a date on which the troops will eliminate these bandits. Then select some commissioners-in-chief and commissioners to lead 30,000 troops there by another route. The bandits mu st be eliminated, but do not bring calamity to the people." Other Imperial orders were sent to the Commissioner-in-chief Han Guan for his advice.
