The chieftain Ban Lu and others who had been sent by Dao Meng-fu, the younger brother of Xi-li Zhang, the native official of Meng-gao in Yun-nan, came to Court and offered tribute. San-peng, the son of Si Lun-fa, the deceased pacification superintendent of Lu-chuan/Ping-mian in Yun-nan, offered tribute of horses. Paper money, patterned fine silks and silk gauzes were conferred upon them all.

This source would be a good addition to the bibliography, since the Ming Shr-lu is the Chinese source used most often in it for reconstructing 15th-16th century Shan history. The ability to paste into comments would be nice since bibliographical entries are long. It comments on many of the entries.
