The attendant minister Yang Zhi-yuan and others who had been sent by Li Yi, the king of the country of Annam, brought a memorial, a salutory letter and tribute of local products and came to the Court to offer felicitations. Ten suits of clothing made from variegated silks and four pieces of brocade were conferred upon Yi. Further, a banquet as well as clothing made from silk interwoven with gold thread, variegated silks and other goods, as appropriate, were conferred upon Zhi-yuan and the others.
