The Commissioner-in-chief of the Right Mu Ang, regional commander of Yun-nan and others, memorialized: "The rebellious bandit Si Ren-fa is resting in Ava-Burma. We have already sent the Guard Commander Li Xiang and others with separate despatches for the Mu-bang and the Ava-Burma Pacification Superintendencies, requiring them to capture Si Ren-fa. Also, together with Vice Minister of the Right Hou Jin, we propose to deploy the government troops from the nearby guards and battalions and station them at Jin-chi, so as to widely demonstrate our military might." The Emperor approved this.
