Zheng-tong: Year 7, Month 5, Day 28

The title "Distinguished Heaven-appointed Supporter and Defender, Loyal and Diligent Military Officer, Specially Promoted Grand Minister for Glorious Happiness and Pillar of the State" was conferred upon the Ding-xi Marquis Jiang Gui and he was given a salary of 1,500 shi of grain, of which 800 shi was to be in rice and 700 shi was to be in wheat. His male descendants were to inherit the title. The title "Distinguished Loyal and Diligent Military Officer, Specially-promoted Grand Master for Glorious Happiness and Pillar of the State" was conferred upon the Jing-yuan Earl Wang Ji and he was given a salary of 1,200 shi of grain, of which 800 shi was to be in rice and 400 shi was to be in wheat. His male descendants were to inherit the title as guard commanders. Both were given patents and titles were posthumously conferred on their family members for three generations.
