The Mu-bang Pacification Superintendency in Yun-nan was exempted from payment of 1,400 liang of silver due from the seventh year of the Zheng-tong reign (1442/43). This was ordered in compensation for the difficulties created by the repeated despatch of yi troops by Mu-bang to accompany the expedition.
