The attendant minister Li Hong-yu and others who had been sent by Li Hao, the king of the country of Annam, presented a memorial and came to Court to offer tribute of gold and silver utensils and other products. A banquet as well as clothing interwoven with gold threads, variegated silks and other goods, as appropriate, were conferred upon them. In addition, variegated silks and patterned brocades were given to Hong-yu and the others to confer, on their return, upon their king.
