The chieftain Ba-la-si, the interpreter Wu-sha and others from the country of Melaka, came to Court and offered tribute of elephants, turtle-shells (龜同) and other goods. Headwear and belts were conferred upon Ba-la-si and Wu-sha, while clothing, variegated silks and other goods, as appropriate, were conferred upon the fan attendants.
