The deputy envoy A-li and others from the country of Champa, memorialized a request that headwear and belts be conferred upon them. The Ministry of Rites advised: "Headwear and belts should be conferred upon five persons, including A-li and the houseman Weng Mo (Alt: Weng Mi), as they have requested. However, as the interpreter Zhou Gong-bao (Alt: Zhou Gong-lu), the houseman Weng Gui and others, a total of six persons, have already had these things conferred upon them, they should not be given them again." The Emperor approved this.
