Hong-wu: Year 26, Month 4, Day 22
1 Jun 1393
It was Imperially commanded that Annam be no longer permitted to come to Court to offer tribute. At this time, people in Annam had killed their ruler and put another on the throne. It was for this reason that they were prohibited from coming to Court. Orders were also sent to the Guang-xi Regional Military Commission and the provincial administration commission, advising that in future the Annam envoys were not to be received.
