The Mian-zhong Pacification Superintendency was established. At this time, Mian-zhong had come to offer tribute. The Emperor ordered the Ministry of Personnel to establish a pacification superintendency, with the head of the native officials, Pu-la-lang, as pacification superintendent. A total of 315 ding of paper money, 14 bolts of silk gauzes, 14 bolts of fine silks and 48 bolts of cloth were conferred upon the envoys, 28 persons in all.
