The Liao-dong Vice Commissioner Yu Quan was re-instated in his post. During the Yong-le reign (1403-24), Quan had privately served the Han Prince as a military official. The Prince conferred upon him a jacket embroidered with golden dragons. When the Tai-zong Emperor heard of this, Quan was banished to Jiao-zhi. At this time, the prince spoke of the matter and accordingly it was ordered that the Ministry of War re-instate Quan in his post.
