The chieftain Dao Bang-men and others who had been sent by Han Luo-fa, the native-official pacification superintendent of the Mu-bang Military and Civilian Pacification Superintendency and Han Guo-fa, the younger brother of the native-official pacification superintendent, who was residing in and protecting the territory of Meng-ding, both in Yun-nan, came to Court and offered tribute of horses, gold and silver utensils and other products. Paper money, biao-li of variegated silks, suits of ramie-silk clothing and other goods were conferred upon them. It was also ordered that Dao Bang-men and the others carry Imperial orders as well as biao-li of variegated silks to confer, on their return, upon the native officials and their wives.
