The envoy Ge-bu-man-du-lu-ya and others from the 11 countries of Calicut, Samudera, Sri Lanka, Cochin, Mecca, Jia-yi-le, Aden, Hormuz, Zu-fa-er, Gan-ba-li and Cambodia, were sent back to their countries with the Javanese envoy Guo Xin and so on. Imperial orders were sent to Yang Wei-xi-sha, the king of the country of Java, as follows: "You, king, were not remiss in fulfilling your tribute obligations during the reigns of my forbears. Now, I have ascended the throne and you, king, have again sent an envoy to the Court to offer tribute. I am aware of your sincere sentiments. During the Xuan-de reign (1426-35), envoys sent by 11 countries including Calicut and Cambodia, came to the Court to offer tribute, but have not yet returned home. Now, king, your envoy is returning. I have especially conferred on them an ocean-going ship and all envoys are returning together. You, king, should make special efforts to show them concern and sympathy and send them back to their respective countries, so as to accord with my desire to show kindness to those from the distance." It was also ordered that the 11 envoys including Ge-bu-man-du-lu-ya take back Imperial orders of instruction for their kings.
