The chieftain Dao Meng-yong and others who had been sent by Si Ji-fa of Lu-chuan, came to Court and offered tribute of 80 liang of gold and 100 liang of silver. They also presented a memorial which read: "Previously, we were subject to the military expedition of elimination sent by the Court and we fled to the region of Ava-Burma. Now, I have repented my mistakes and turned towards goodness. It is requested that my transgressions be pardoned so that I can be secure in my remaining years." The Emperor ordered that the tribute be accepted.
