The chief envoy Ba Long* and the deputy envoy Bu-sha-pa who had been sent by Mo-he Bi-gai, the king of the country of Champa, presented a memorial and a salutory letter, came to Court and offered tribute of local products. A banquet as well as suits of clothing made from fine silks interwoven with gold thread, variegated silks and other goods, as appropriate, were conferred upon them. It was also ordered that they take Imperial orders as well as velvet brocades, ramie-silk interwoven with gold thread, silk gauzes, fine horses and other goods to confer, on their return, on the king of their country and his consort. * See also Ying-zong juan 129.6b
