The attendant minister Ruan Zong, who had been sent by Li Jun, the king of the country of Annam, and... presented memorials and offered tribute of gold and silver utensils, gharu-wood, elephant tusks and various other local products. A banquet as well as biao-li of variegated silk, suits of clothing embroidered with gold thread and other goods, as appropriate, were conferred upon them.
