The following promotions were made in Yun-nan: Liu Ying, the vice commander of Jing-dong Guard was promoted to guard commander. The Battalion Commander Wei Bi and others, a total of five persons, were promoted to assistant guard commanders. The Company Commander Qin Tong, the Battalion Judge Sun Zhong and others, a total of 13 persons, were promoted to deputy battalion commanders. These promotions were made to reward achievements realized in breaching Zhe-zhang-ying Stockade and were ordered in accordance with a memorial from the regional commander Mu Ang.
