Meng Gai, the native-official prefect of Shun-ning Prefecture in Yun-nan, was given the titles of "Superior Grand Master of the Palace" and "Governor Assisting in Administration". In addition, a title patent, a gold belt and variegated silks were conferred upon him in reward. The local battalion commander A Du-si and others, a total of 30 persons, were all promoted and rewarded as appropriate. These rewards were issued for their achievements in punishing the rebellious Lu-chuan bandits.
