Paper money for travelling expenses was conferred upon the government troops proceeding on expedition against Luchuan: One thousand guan was conferred upon the regional commissioners; five hundred guan was conferred upon guard commanders; four hundred guan was conferred upon battalion commanders, guard judges and chiefs; three hundred guan was conferred upon company commanders, battalion judges, chieftains and local commanders (把事); two hundred and fifty guan was conferred upon platoon commanders; and two hundred and thirty guan was conferred upon squad commanders.
