The attendant minister Li Neng-rang and others who had been sent by Li Hao, the king of the country of Annam, in accordance with the tribute frequency requirements ( ), presented a memorial and salutory message, local products and horses. The Ministry of Rites advised of this. It was ordered that they were to be exempted from presenting the memorial to the Court and that at the banquet to be conferred upon them, there was to be no music provided. Further, brocaded silks were conferred upon the king, while variegated silks and other goods, as appropriate, were conferred upon Neng-rang and the others.
