The Annam Commander Li Wei-qi attacked Mo Jing-kuan. He divided his troops into three forces. One attacked Gao-ping, another attacked Gui-shun and the third attacked Guang-nan. The Gui-shun force killed two chieftains. Also, Jing-kuan's eldest son slit his own throat, while his wife/wives, concubine/s and youngest son were captured. Jing-kuan and his second son fled into the mountains and then later returned again to Gao-ping.
