The eunuch Yang Rong, who was responsible for mining taxes and the precious stone procurement in Yun-nan, impeached Cai Ru-chuan, the prefect of Xun Dian, Gan Xue-shu, the magistrate of Zhao Subprefecture, and government students for resisting and obstructing the mining.
