The Commissioner-in-Chief of the left Mu Ang and other government troops, a total of 8,364 persons, were rewarded with biao-li of variegated satin, thin silks and paper money, as appropriate, for their achievements in the killing and capture of men and elephants in the expedition against the Lu-chuan man bandit Si Ren-fa.
